My "UFO"experience

A few months ago, my friends and I went to an abandoned village in the north of Ecuador to have an "adventure"...  a man told us that in this place were big secret lakes and in the night the biggest lake start to make little waves and beautiful lights illuminated it. We thought that going to this place was going to be a magical experience, so we went there. We stayed in a little cottage till the night fell. When the sky was totally black and full of stars we went to the big lake and we got on a boat. It was true!! the lake started to make little waves and then... full lights stared to illuminated this place, we wanted to know where does those lights came, and we realize that those lights came from de sky, a big flying saucer was pointing us with its lights, then a strange force started to elevate us to the UFO, we were very scared but we reacted and throw into the lake, the UFO take our boat and we fell into the lake. Then we swim out the lake and ran to our cottage, the same night we took our baggage, got in the car and got out of that magical but dark place.

The INCAS vs US.

The INCAS were an ancient civilization. They had a huge empire. They lived in the part of actual Colombia,Chile, Bolivia and Argentina, so they had a vast territory. In short, they were a civilization very powerful and respected.

There are a lot of differences that we can mention between the INCAS and US. The world actually has change a lot since those civilizations have disappeared. For example...

Talking about territory, the INCAS had huge lands, they protected it with wars and confrontations with people who tried to invade them. Actually our territory is politically divided in continents and countries, each country have their own laws and rules and it's not easy just invade or conquer a country because now exists organizations like ONU who protect countries from wars and confrontations.

In education, the Incas only allowed the kids of the royal families in schools to learn to write, read, and their history.  Now, every single child has the right of education. Everybody can learn to do anything in schools, but there are some countries with a lot of kids, who don't go to school so we have to work on it,

In food, the Incas planted grew and ate tomatoes, avocados, beans, peanut, spices, etc. Nowadays, people eat what they want, some people choose to eat healthy, and some choose to eat junk food.

Talking about politic, nobody were hungry or homeless in the Inca empire, everybody had something to eat and somewhere to live because their government were very responsible with their people, they were like communists, the equality existed there. Now all depends of the government of each country, some governments are doing it right, but some are just corrupts.

In short, the INCAS were very right with their people but like everything, they had their pros and cons, like us.

Hello, teacher Alexandra!! I apologize for the delay, I was at the "Mi Caleta" foundation ubicated in the "Arbolito"park for the CAS proyect and I got home late. Hope you understand, thank you.
Here's my work:

Mirella Cesa and Pamela Cortez.(Writing.)

(Think of two famous people from yout country and compare them)

Mirella Cesa is a singer, and Pamela Cortez too, both are ecuadorians. They are both from Guayaquil.

Mirella is younger than Pamela, Mirella has 31, and Pamela 35. Pamela has got black hair and Mirella has blonde long hair. Mirella is taller than Pamela. Talking about style, Mirella has  more colorful style than Pamela, she always wears accesories and clothes of many colours and feathers on her hair. Pamela has more years of an artistic career than Mirella. Pamela is working artisticallysince 1988 and Mirella since 2006, however Mirella has been mentioned in the media more than Pamela.

Pamela is more hardworking than Mirella, Mirella is more outgoing, funny and relaxed than Pamela.

Pamela has more experience artistically than Mirella because Pamela besides being a singer, she is an actress and a dancer. Both ladies are succesfull and talented,  they have amazing voices and songs.

The day I met my favorite youtuber...

Some weeks ago, I was surfing in the internet, then I saw a publication in facebook saying that the most famous Youtubers were coming to Ecuador to make a meeting with fans. These youtubers were from Mexico and Colombia. My favorite youtuber is Werevertumorro, from Mexico and he was coming!!!! I was very excited, but at the same time sad, because I didn't had tickets to see him at the show... Suddenly, I heared on teh radio that Coca-cola was giving tickets for FREE if you will publish something funny in twitter with the hashtag #INTERFANSCOCACOLAFM, I didn't have high hopes to win, but I least I could say that i tried, so i did. I spent all afternoon in twitter, and amazingly someone in the radio said my name saying that I had won two tickets to the show!!!!
I went to the show with my sister, we had a lot of fun and I saw him! I couldn't talk to him personally but at least this day will going to stay forever in my memory.... Oh, and a I have a picture with him!!! ...... him in a figure made of cardboard, of course haha
Well, it was a WONDERFUL day.

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE

1.- What is the main topic about and what are the advantages?

The topic is about the Virtual test methods.The advantages of these screen test is that the students feel more motivated to do their exams  and not feel they are being rated for their memorization, they are being rated for their skills.

2.- What should be the profile of an International Baccalaureate student?

The profile of an IB student should be: researcher, sensitive, critical, peaceful, understanding. reflexive, solidarity, liable, etc.

4.- What do the people think about the Assessment?

The students and even the teachers are delighted about the screen tests, they feel that this assessment are more beneficial for so many reasons

This assessment is more compatible whit ther minds at this age, and I think is an eco-friendly method because they don't use so much paper anymore}
